Serious Support for HDSA.org!!

We are just 4 days away from our first event of 2013!  I am blown away by the support of some of our favorite businesses out there! Lorna Jane (originally from Australia) has come on to the US athletic wear market recently and we just can’t get enough! They will be at the event donating a fantastic raffle prize this Sat. as well as 10% from everything they sell from their trunk show.

Starbars will also be unloading their latest bars for us to try! These organic, raw superfood bars revolutionize the concept of healthy snacking. Once your done with class you can grab one of these bars or head over to taste a sample of Eat Well LA, Los Angeles’s healthy meal delivery service coming to Playa Vista.

We can’t thank these local businesses and everyone else that has spread the word about this amazing event!

“Power For Pink”… Power in the Park’s Annual October Event!

“Power for Pink” was our original brain child! Originated in October of 2011 it was a combined effort from both Playa Pilates and Yoga Vista to put together a donation fitness class in support of breast cancer awareness month. After such great a great response from the National Breast Cancer Foundation and our friends and family we decided to hold a class once a month in 2012 called “Power in the Park”.  Power in the Park would pick a different charity each month and hold a donation yoga class in Concert Park.  It has come full circle and we cannot wait to share how far we have come with this special annual event on October 20, 2012. Power in the Park has raised a total of $5,106!! We will provide more raffle prices, special shirts, and refreshments for this annual Power in the Park class to make sure everyone knows this is where it all started!  See you on the grass!

Please join us to honor Jack Gardner and his family as well as all those who have lost a loved one… and all those still fighting!

Join Linda Baffa for the first ever Yoga to Prevent Cruelty of Animals. 21 July 2012

Bring your mat and your best friend (pets)!

“Power in the Park” and the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals have joined forces to raise funds for the prevention of cruelty towards animals through yoga in the park on July 21st!

Believing that animals, as living creatures, have value beyond economic measurement, and are entitled to legal, moral and ethical consideration and protection makes this organization extremely special and desperately needed.
