Power in the Park held the first annual Yoga Against Extreme Poverty & AIDS event on 17 March 2012. The event was held inside at the nearby Westside Neighborhood School in West Los Angeles due to rain. We were extremely excited to see so many people brave the crazy rain storms and still make it to the event. Andrew Garretson from ONE.org gave a short speech about their organization’s mission and vision. Keary Ann Bixby, owner of Yoga Vista, MC’ed the event and Sean Gray was our guest instructor.
